To help the Class of 2025 international students adapt to campus life as quickly as possible and familiarize themselves with university policies and regulations, the Center for International Cooperation and Exchange invited Associate Professor Deng Chunmei from the School of General Education to conduct two orientation sessions for international students on December 22 and 29.

The first session focused on the university’s history and current status, international cooperation and exchange programs, and enrollment processes. Through these activities, It aimed to foster a sense of identification and belonging among international students and lay a solid foundation for their successful academic journey.
The second session focused on practical aspects of international students’ integration into campus life. It provided a detailed overview of campus life service guides, daily academic and administrative regulations, and essential safety information. By incorporating specific case studies and addressing common questions, the session offered clear, actionable guidance to help international students adapt to campus life.
The two sessions featured substantive content and a well-structured program, including interactive Q&A sessions. The atmosphere was lively, and the feedback was positive. They provided international students with timely and practical guidance, effectively alleviating the stress they face when first arriving in a foreign country, and laid a solid foundation for the university to implement integrated management of international students and fully incorporate them into the overall educational system.
