On the evening of December 24, 2025, the International Cooperation and Exchange Center, in collaboration with the Department of Student Mental Health and Workplace Safety under the School of General Education, held group counseling activities for international students in Conference Room 103 of the Administration Building. A total of 83 international students from countries including Laos, Bangladesh, and Vietnam participated in the activities.

First, Ms. Liang conducted a comprehensive psychological assessment to the international students. The assessment covered topics such as perception, emotions, cognition, consciousness, behavior, lifestyle habits, interpersonal relationships, and eating and sleeping patterns. After that, she created a psychological profile for each student to facilitate the provision of more targeted psychological support in the future.

Second, group counseling activities were held for international students. Students gradually opened up through activities such as “getting to know each other” and “interactive games”, engaging in active communication and becoming familiar with one another. Cross-cultural friendships blossomed naturally through these interactions, fostering a warm, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere for personal and emotional connection.

CQCMC places great emphasis on mental health education for international students. In response to challenges such as homesickness, cultural shock, and difficulties in quickly adapting to campus life, the university organizes a variety of counseling and educational activities designed to help students express themselves and manage their emotions. These initiatives aim to foster a healthy, inclusive, and supportive psychological environment within the international student community.
